flexible jaw coupling spider in shaft couplings
The flexible jaw coupling spider from Jacton Industryare offered in the industry’s largest variety of stock boreandkeyway combinations. The jaw couplings are composed of three parts: two metallic hubs and an elastomer insert called an element, but commonly referred to as a "spider". The three parts press fit together with a jaw from each hub fitted alternately with the lobes of the spider. The jaw coupling torque is transmitted through the elastomer lobes in compression.
These flexible jaw couplings spider require no lubrication and are resistant to oil, grease, moisture and other contaminants, also provide highly reliable service for light, medium, and heavy duty transmitted torque electrical motor and internal combustion power transmission applications. To be plugged in axially, easy assembly, maintenance-free. Balancing axial, radial and angular misalignment. Torque ratings from 17Nm to 3600Nm. Service temperature from -40°C to +90°C.Applications include power transmission to industrial equipment such as pumps, gear boxes, compressors, blowers, mixers, and conveyors.
The flexible jaw coupling spider features:
1. Easy of inspection, easy maintenance2. Can absorb vibration, parallel, angular and axial misalignments 3. Identical clockwise and anticlockwise ratational charateristics4. Both ends material is iron, intermediate for rubber materials5. Simple configuration, setscrew type, low price6. Hole can be self-processing,easy facilitate
When using Jacton Industrycouplings, you must follow these instructions and take the following precautions. Failureto do so may cause the power transmission product to break and parts to be thrown with sufficient force tocause severe injury or death.
Refer to this Jacton Industry performance tablesfor proper selection, sizing, horsepower, torque range, and speed rangeof power transmission products, including elastomeric elements for couplings. Follow the installationinstructions included with the product, and in the individual coupling performance tablesfor proper installation of powertransmission products. Do not exceed performance tablesratings.
During start up and operation of power transmission product, avoid sudden shock loads. Coupling assemblyshould operate quietly and smoothly. If coupling assembly vibrates or makes beating sound, shut downimmediately, and recheck alignment. Shortly after initial operation and periodically thereafter, whereapplicable, inspect coupling assembly for: alignment, wear of elastomeric element, bolt torques, and flexingelements for signs of fatigue. Do not operate coupling assembly if alignment is improper, or where applicable,if elastomeric element is damaged, or worn to less than 75% of its original thickness.
Do not use any of these power transmission products for elevators, man lifts, or other devices that carrypeople. If the power transmission product fails, the lift device could fall resulting in severe injury or death.
For all power transmission products, do not start power transmission product beforesuitable guards are in place. Failure to properly guard these products may result in severe injury or deathfrom personnel contacting moving parts or from parts being thrown from assembly in the event the powertransmission product fails.
The flexible jaw coupling spider are usedfor servo motor, stepper motor, encoder etc for machine tool, pumps, gear boxes, compressors, blowers, mixers, and conveyors, transport cabinet elevator, monitor retractor, vacuum pump, lifting jack, entrance/exit gate, textile machinery, conveyor, fan, pump, hydraulic equipment, XY stage, transport device, index table, mixer, ventilator, dispenser, injection molding machine, tube production machine, test stand etc
